PBRH History: In 1996, prior to the building of Flood Rink,
games were played on the Pawling Elementary School
parking lot. The inaugural puck was dropped by PBRH
original Board Member Barbara Zulauf with longtime Pawling
Town Supervisor Jim Tanner presiding. Brittany Roselle
(Sacred Heart '10) and B Ray Zulauf, who is now a sophomore
at Salve Regina, are posed for the big event.

2007 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT SEASON!
Many exciting announcements, articles and photo essays were planned within the days and weeks that followed the 2007 season. We got busy with ice and snow however. We will be adding more pictures from 2007 soon!

LEARN TO SKATE NIGHT!

PBRH would like to thank Bill Boula Sr. and Tony Boula of Pawling Fence for helping to solve the main door riddle. The new spring loaded latching system is fantastic.
The door gets pounded and is constantly shifting. Thanks to Jim Lennon for helping with the scoreboard
and inevitable door adjustments.
Thank you to the Rice Family for weed wacking around the rink and the microwave donation to replace the stolen one.
Thank you to the Shubert Family for donating a unit to replace the one the Rice Family donated.
We would also like to thank John Benson of the Harlem Valley Herald for generous his coverage of PBRH.

PBRH IS GOING GREEN!
CONSISTENT WITH OUR THEME OF INCORPORATING EDUCATIONAL PRECEPTS INTO PBRH, WE ARE PLACING RECYCLING BINS AT THE RINK. PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS INITIATIVE BY USING THE GREEN BINS FOR ALL RECYCLABLE ITEMS. THANK YOU.

Thank you to Town of Pawling Supervisor Beth Coursen for dropping the ceremonial first puck of the 2007 PBRH summer season. The Coyotes bested the Cobras 7-3, in a fine PeeWee match-up.

LEARN TO SKATE CLASS OF 2007: A FINE CAST
LTS continues to astonish the instructors with their skill and obvious enthusiasm. Every child is making noteworthy strides in their development and it appears, the instructors have to work fast just to keep ahead of these new players. We may be heading towards more game situations and even scrimmages. The entire summer was spent with basic skills in 2006. This year's model is doing drills we never did last season, or any year at LTS.
It is especially rewarding to see some of the LTS graduates stop in to help out. This allows for us to provide appropriate instruction to our fledgling set. With this dedicated coaching, we anticipate that these newbies will be rolling very soon. Remember to keep the skates and helmets in the car for times when there are secure places to get extra practice.
FIRST EVER PBRH ADULT LEAGUE GAME 6/30/7
A Parent Driven Organization
Pawling-Beekman Roller Hockey is a public recreational youth sports club. Our board meetings are public and we encourage parents to play an active role in the administration of the program. Opportunities include Team Mom and Team Dad, coaching, assistant coach, Learn To Skate helper and board service. The success of PBRH is dependent upon volunteers who consider athletics as an essential component to child development. Ultimately, the parents who fund PBRH have a critical stake in the merits of this program. Please consider stepping up to the face off circle for the betterment of these children.
